Elementary work is a form of maintenance that is not subject to a maintenance release and therefore it need not be performed by an AME or by persons working under an AMO certificate (ie. owners or authorized persons may perform these tasks themselves).  The owner is responsible for controlling authorizations to persons who may perform elementary work.  An extensive list of these elementary tasks is contained in CAR 2007-2, Standard 625, Appendix A.

To view the list, click on the link below to access CAR 2007-2 Standard 625. Click on Appendix A at the end of the Standard to access the list of tasks, their associated amendment dates and previous versions.

Thanks to Kori Ibey of Maximum North for forwarding this information.
