Johanna is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and holds a Professional Engineer license. Born in Mexico City, she relocated to Ontario,Canada with her parents at the age of 15. She currently calls North Bay her home and serves as the Manager of Operations at Enbridge Gas Inc. In this capacity, she is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the energy delivery system for customers in the Northern region. In the summer of 2023, Johanna acquired her Private Pilot License (PPL) and is actively pursuing additional ratings.

Her passion for aviation took flight in 2018, and she has found strong parallels between her role at Enbridge and aviation, particularly in terms of safety and risk management. She looks forward to contribute to the aviation community.

Retired. Worked at Canadore College for 29 years.  Flying since 1976.  Own and fly a few aircraft.  A WagaBond, A Zodiac 601XLB and an RV-9A.  Goal is to keep finding new airports and destinations to fly to.

Always had a passion for aviation. Obtained his PPL & CPL  with Earlton Airways between 1989 - 1991. Added a Multi-IFR in May 2009. Member of Casara Unit 8 of North Bay.

Working in the regional aircraft maintenance industry since 1999 as an AME- Structures technician, specifically on the DeHavilland Q400 for the last 11 years.

I have been retired for the past 8 years. I have a variety of interests which includes mechanics, construction, photography and cooking. I am currently the President of the South River/Sundridge Flying Club.  I have had a love of aviation since a child. I have been licensed since the "70s, as PPL with night endorsement. GPL (both non current) because I now fill all my flying needs with an Ultralight Pilot Permit. I love the new regulations for ultralight.  Ultralight Pilot licensing has very minimal government involvement and medicals are self declared. If you stay in the "Basic" category the licensing and maintenance of your aircraft is similar.  It is a perfect category as you get older. I built a Kolb Firestar in my basement and have been flying it for 2 years. It provides an excellent platform for aerial photography and is perfect for punching holes in small clouds.
